Our line stopping equipment provides you with the opportunity to isolate a section of your pipeline whilst essential repair and maintenance work can be carried out. This method uses our innovative under pressure drilling equipment to create a hole in the pipe line whilst under pressure. A flow stop is lowered into the pipeline, with a specialist plugging head resisting the forces created by the flow.
When looking to isolate a section of pipe, UTS Engineering can combine flow stops with a bypass line to allow for maintenance and repair to be carried out without the need for a costly shut down.
A section of pipework is shown being removed to simulate a damaged section of the pipeline being repaired, replaced or for the installation of new valves or meters. Flow is maintained during this operation through a bypass line, ensuring increased customer satisfaction and reducing time and cost implications.

Winter can bring some serious issues to pipelines – namely pipe...
Our flange adaptors range will join any flanged fitting to a spigot end pipe.
Our range of straight couplings are designed to join spigot end pipes with the same outside diameter.
Our stepped coupling range is designed to join spigot end pipes with different outside diameters.
Designed to join spigot end pipes which have a difference in outside diameter greater than 50mm.
Our dismantling joint range allows for longitudinal adjustment on flanged pipe systems.
Provides you with the opportunity to for a flanged pipe to branch from an existing line.
Our End caps are the ideal solutions for capping off spigot end pipes on a temporary or permanent basis.
