Chlorination

When commissioning pipelines, UTS Engineering can chlorinate your line to ensure it is safe for the transfer of potable water. In some circumstances, we can use our flow stop service to create a bypass to a nearby line and avoid the need for a costly shut down.

The pipeline is filed with chlorinated water to kill bacteria, which is regularly flushed. The chlorinated pipeline will be regularly examined to ensure there is no safety risk when reconnecting the isolated line.
